The Gabriel Organista's Biography

Hello, my name is Gabriel, and this is my biography. I am from Colombia, and I was born on July 7, 2008. I spent my childhood in Bogotá and Puerto Carreño, Vichada.

Since childhood, I've always loved creating things and helping others. In 2022, when I was 13 years old, I was given a great opportunity. My brother introduced me to programming and encouraged me to study it.

When I started studying programming, my brother provided me with resources, and I began learning the fundamentals, like variables, conditionals, etc. My first programming language was Python.

I remember a project that I had to do. It was an application for a forum focused on personal finance management. At the time, I didn't know much about back-end development or APIs, but I did my best to learn. This was in 2022.

In 2023, my brother provided resources for learning Java, and I began to study it. I learned the basics of back-end development, how to use Keycloak, and worked with a team during the course.

In mid-2023, my brother told me about a project we would be working on for a foundation. I started working on it, and I remember investing over a year and a half into the project due to various challenges such as the learning curve, planning with the foundation, and my own perfectionism. However, I finished the project in 2024 and deployed it in 2025. The deployment was quite challenging.

In 2024, I began studying at Sena, an institution in Colombia that provides free education. I enrolled in a technical program in software development, where I made many friends and worked on a final project with three other people. Our project was called "Project-Server," and the idea was to offer Minecraft server rentals.

At the end of 2024, when I was 16 years old, I began the practical phase of my studies, which involves working as an intern at a company for six months. I'm currently in this phase and gaining valuable experience.
